This is a large section of ripped apart undercarriage tyre which has some remains of its maker markings clear to see the section has ripped off by the impact of the crash.The rubber section is in solid section which is very solid not braking up or falling apart and a large part at 20 inches long by 2 half inches wide and is vary rare to get parts like this from a German ME262 jet. The part comes from German Messerschmitt me 262A-2a jet plane of 3/KG51 shot down 14th February 1945 by RAF Spitfire the pilot was Feldwebel Rudolf Hofmann killed the plane crashed at Emmrich in Germany and comes with a A5 information laminated sheet and is a very nice relic from the very famous jet fighter.
