This is a damaged recovered German Anti Tank Tellermine 43 which has lots of its original sand colour paint remains very clear to see .The mine is the top section of the mine only with no bottom plate or top pressure plate it is completely empty and inert it still has some original colour and red paintwork inside the mine looks like it has ripped and bent up partly looks like impact damage from explosion it has rust damage and is rusty and with a few rust holes. The mine is still in nice and solid condition not braking up or falling apart it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for any display or collection a nice example of this very famous mine recovered from the battlefield. The Tellermine was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
