Group of larger size airframe and engine parts,maker marked from German Messerschmitt bf 109E-4 of 2/LG2 the pilot was Unteroffizier Buschmeyer he was shot down at 4.00pm on 24th August 1940 by a RAF Hurricane during the Battle of Britain.

This is a group of 3 large size engine parts and aluminium airframe section which has some original black paintwork. And there are 2 internal engine parts one is a pipework end has maker markings and a small electrical plug also with clear maker markings all the parts still with some original paintwork also with original colours that are very clear to see but still with some dirt attached from the recovery. The parts are in nice solid condition all the parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and have been nicely cleaned might clean up more with effort they are in nice solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 7-2 inches long.This group of parts is from German Messerschmitt bf 109E-4 of 2/LG2 the pilot was Unteroffizier Buschmeyer he was shot down at 4.00pm on 24th August 1940 by a RAF Hurricane during the Battle of Britain.The parts come with 2xA5 laminated information cards.

Messerschmitt was escorting Heinkel 111’s of KG53 to attack Hornchurch aerodrome but he was shot down in combat by Pilot Officer Wicks of 56 squadron during a dogfight over the Thames Estuary. The Messerschmitt crashed at Canewdon near Rochford in Essex. The pilot E.Buschmeyer baled out and was captured.
