This is a German steel shell case 7.5cm KwK42 fired by Panther Tank which is complete even with a straight neck not damaged so would mount a projectile in to it but not perfectly. The case is rusty but solid and is in relic condition it does have some small rust holes it is very solid and is not braking up or falling apart the case has non of its original markings that can be seen on the bottom it is overall nicely cleaned a solid relic perfect for display or any collection and getting harder to find especially so solid still from the battlefield. The shell case was recovered near the village of Mont which is just North of Houffalize the panther tank would have belonged to the 116th Panzer Division. This is a very nice relic from the Ardennes Forest campaign during the battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.This real bit of history from this famous battle which was Hitlers last offensive in the West and comes with 2x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures.
