This is a German vehicle verbandkasten [medical box] which has some original paintwork left it has been very well cleaned. The box does still have some dirt and muck attached the box is rusty and in relic condition but still solid condition not braking up perfect for display or any collection. The box is very near complete with a few rust holes in the lid which is loose from the box the hinge is broken but the locks are there but do not work but very rare to get this box battlefield recovered. The box was recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943. The box was recovered from near the village of Plota near Prokhorovka on the battlefield at Kursk 1943 where the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East in Russia. The box comes with a A5 laminated information card.
