    This is a rare World War 1 French soldiers army issue the standard 2 litres in size waterbottle. It is complete and still has its original green cloth cover it is complerte with its cork stopper but is missing its carry strap the cloth cover is damaged but the bottle has no holes that i can see it has light surface rust on it,the cover has the white patch for soldiers name but it is blank it is in very nice solid condition a cracking example of this famous French water bottle and a very hard find these days in this condition the bottle was Found on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.A very nice item from the battle of the Somme.
