This is a German soldiers MP40 machine gun magazine empty of all ammunition and in nice relic condition it is not complete missing its bottom section which has ripped off. The magazine is complete with some of its internal parts and has its maker markings the waffen stamp and dated 1941 all clear to see and lots of original colour but does have some rust holes but nothing to bad it is a nice solid condition relic overall very good, nice condition for a recovered battlefield find nicely cleaned and perfect for display or any collection. The magazine was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield. The magazine comes with A5 laminated information card.
