    This is a nice complete large internal engine part from one of the Daimler Benz engines on the aircraft it is not damaged by the impact of the crash and has very little rust or discolor well protected inside the engine after the crash . The part which is a cogged bar with large cogg and a bearing at the other end it is totally complete it has been very well cleaned and has most of its original colours all over but with some light pitting in places it is in nice solid condition it is perfect for display or any collection it is 5 half inches long and from the hart of one of the DB601 Daimler Benz engines on the aircraft.The part comes from German Messerschmitt 110 which was shot down during the siege of Tobruk in North Africa in 1941 and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.

    The plane was excavated in 1979 and this part was in the Blake Hall Airscene museum collection. The museum in Essex shut down in 2007.
