Ultra rare very large glass framed aluminium airframe section with lots of its original Mauve camouflage paintwork from Messerschmitt 109 work number 7295 of 6/JG53 based in Sicily that was shot down on the 15th May 1942 at Hal Far in the south of Malta

This is a ultra rare very large glass framed aluminium air frame structure section that still retains lots of its original colours clear to see and is a very large section airframe. The airframe section has most of its original Mauve camouflage paint work remains which was only used by a couple of different German squadrons all based in the Mediterranean and North Africa so a rare colour paint sceam. The part has ripped off by the impact of the crash they are in relic but solid condition and have been nicely cleaned perfect for display it has been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with information and lots of pictures, this very large frame is 18 inches by 18 inches in size and very hard to get relic from the air war over Malta.The part was from Messerschmitt 109 work number 7295 of 6/JG53 based in Sicily. The Messerschmitt 109 was in action over Malta on the 15th May 1942 when it was shot down by RAF spitfire flown by Squadron leader Douglas-Hamilton of 603 Squadron. The pilot of the Messerschmitt was Leutnant Herbert Soukop. Herbert was wounded after the head-on attack by the spitfire. He baled out and was captured with a broken arm and taken prisoner of war. The Messerschmitt crashed at Hal Far in the extreme south of Malta.
