This is a German brass shell case which has been cut down properly post war but is in nice condition fired by the 10.5cm Kanone 18 field gun .The case which are unusual to find in there own right from this gun it still retains its brass colour but does have a lot of discolour from exposure to the elements on the bottom it has all of its maker markings clear to see it is dated 1937 with waffen stamp the primer has partly rotted away it has been very nicely cleaned perfect to display or any collection and getting hard to get brass made ww2 German shell cases. This shell case was found on a brocante in Arras used by the Wehrmacht in the battle of France May-June 1940 or on the Atlantic wall defence as many of these guns were used for that.
