German 2x Doppelfernrohr [double telescope] 10x80 gun sight binoculars optic lens nice semi-relic condition recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-45.

This is a very unusual find from the battlefield a pair of German Doppelfernrohr [double telescope] 10x80 gun sight binoculars optic lens.The lens with there glass lens still inside them and not broken or cracked but not complete. The parts still retain most of there original colours they do still have some dirt attached from the recovery but they are in nice solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection which is a unusual find from the battlefield. They were recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-45.The lens come with A5 laminated information card.

The lens were recovered from a lake which was used as a dump site for battlefield clearance the area where the lake is, was attacked by the German 26th Volksgrenadier Division and elements of the Panzer Lehr Division they had the only anti-aircraft guns in the area.
