This card is for Lieutenant Karl Karg the card reads as a reminder in prayer of ours. In the fallen field of honour our fallen son and brother. Lieutenant in a gebirgsjager regiment the mountain troops, brewery and landowner in Helmenkirch. He was born on the 10th of April 1920 and died on the 24th of July 1943 during the battle for the Kuban bridgehead in Russia where he would have won the Kuban shield. he died age 23 years.
