    This is a group of cockpit Perspex window remains, they were been broken and fire damaged by the impact of the crash and is perfect for display or any collection  The pieces are from German Junkers ju88A-1 bomber of 8/lLG1,shot down during attack on Andover it crashed and exploded at Sidlesham at 4.35pm on the 13th August 1940 during battle of Britain and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.

    The crew Leutnant Zur See K W Brinkbaumer ,Gefreiter O.Roger,Gefreiter J.Dietl and Hauptmann A.Scheuplein all killed.The crew were buried together in St Andrews churchyard at Tangmere where they remain to this day. Both promoted after their deaths the register records the ranks of Karl-Wilhelm Brinkbaumer and Alfons Scheuplein as Oberleutnant and major respectively.
