    This is a totally rare German parachute harness buckle from a crewman on a battle of Britain German bomber, The buckle is in relic but nice solid condition the markings can be mostly seen on the front and the side but on the back it is not so clear to see.The buckle is damaged from the crash with dents and looks like some fire damage but is still retains some of its original colour but does have some pitting and damage from being buried but is pretty much all there it is still very solid not braking up the buckle has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The buckle belonged to a crew-member on German Junkers ju88 bomber number 317 shot down 16th October 1940 which crashed in Essex during the Battle of Britain .The buckle comes with 3x A5 laminated information cards with pictures.

    German Junkers Ju88 bomber work number 317 which was on the 16th October 1940 this aircraft was on a bombing raid over London but before it got there it crashed in a very large explosion and burned out in the Village of Much Hadham near Bishops stortford Church in Essex .All the crew were killed they were Hauptmann Erich Hass, Feldwebel Josef Kessels, Feldwebel Gunther Suhr and war correspondant Anton Doppelfeld.
