    This is a Original YANK magazine This one is issue volume 1 number 36 dated 1st April 1945.It has a nice front page picture nice condition but has been well used and is complete with all its pages as far as i can tell it is damaged with loose pages a nice well used magazine it is a nice war time example of this famous magazine.The is a was found on a local brocante or boot fair in Bras a village just outside Bastogne this village is were British and American forces both re captured it from the Germans during the fighting in early 1945 this one was properly used by a soldier doing battlefield clearance due to the date.

    on the 13th January 1945 the last German soldiers occupying the village of Bras the village of Bras near Bastogne the scene of heavy fighting at the end of the Battle of the Bulge. On the following day the village of Bras was liberated, and a historic meeting took place when the American forces linked up with the British forces and drove the Germans back into Germany.
