    This a rare find from the battlefield which is a German feldgendarmerie soldiers Police gauget remains it is missing one edge.The Gauget with no markings left on it but has some original paintwork it is in relic condition but very solid condition it has been nicely cleaned and is a lovely battlefield find which is perfect for display or any collection.The gauet was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
