    This is a nice recognizable part of German bomber from the Battle of Britain this is a airframe panel which is pretty much complete and very rare taken at the time or shortly after the crash and there is so little around of the aircraft one of the rarest Battle of Britain German bombers to get bits from. The panel still has some of original gray paintwork it has been very well cleaned and has all of its original colour it is in nice solid condition pretty much un damaged by the impact of the crash but is perfect for display or any collection it is 5 inches long in size .The part is from from German Heinkel He 111 bomber of 1/KG55 engaged in a bombing raid over Portsmouth Harbour the plane was attacked by fighters of 602 squadron. Both the plane’s engines were on fire, so it dumped its bombs and force landed at Helliers Farm in Wick near Littlehampton on the 26th August 1940.The panel comes with 2xA5 laminated information sheets.

    The crew who all survived but some were wounded they were Oberlieutenant I.Krenn, Uunteroffizier H.Degen Unteroffizier H.Morrack and Unteroffizier W.Shneiders all baled out and were captured by the home guard.
