    This is a very rare complete British 2-inch medium trench mortar bomb nick named Toffee apple.This mortar bomb is a very nice condition relic which is empty and inert which is de activated by condition it is rusty but with only surface rust with no holes but has some pitting and has some original black paintwork in places and is in lovely condition and is pretty much complete mortar other then the top fuse and is perfect for display or collection and a unusual and rare find from the battlefield.The mortar bomb was found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
