    This is a Russian 82mm mortar bomb tail section nice fired relic which is missing a fin with bottom part of the bomb case still attached. This fin is the fair less common variant of a 82mm mortar round it has its primer with its maker markings also dated 1944 and it has blown off in the explosion of being fired nice condition relic which is empty and inert which is de activated by condition and has lovely clear to see black paintwork remains not much but some. The mortar bomb tail section which is in relic but solid condition it still retains some of its original colour it has been very well cleaned the metal is pitted and rusty but overall nice condition for a relic it is perfect for display or any collection . The mortar bomb was fired by the 69th Army recovered near the river Oder at Lebus south of Seelow Heights 1945 battlefield the opening battle for Berlin. The tail section comes with A5 laminated information card with pictures.
