    This is a Unbelievably rare British 2 pounder anti-tank gun ammunition box dated 1938 it was captured at Dunkirk by the Germans and re used as 4.0 cm Pak 192 (e) in the Wehrmacht.The box which is in nice condition still with a lot of its original green paintwork inside and on the outside it has been over painted dark green there is no racking on the inside but on the inside of the lid is the remains of 2 German paper labels still with some marker markings still on it. The box is dated 1938 on the lid and marked with the C207 as well the lid which still opens and closes the locks still work and has both its metal carry handles and the cloth covers as well very rare to get a box from the battlefield in such good condition that has cleaned up so well. This box came from a private collection in Dieppe originally used by the German Army in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944.
