    This is a German 37mm Flak 38 steel shell case with brass wash. The primer is dated 1942 which is clear to read but unfortunately the markings on the base of the case are not visible.   The case is in good condition apart from the base which has lost its brass wash and markings. The primer has had a 2mm hole drilled through the centre. It is possible to see the gun extractor mark from when the case was fired. It has been cleaned, ready to add to a collection! The neck of case is slightly misshapen, no longer perfectly round but could be worked on to sit a projectile in. Found in a flea market in Ciney Belgium.

    Would be great for displaying a projectile in as the brass wash to the side of the case looks great
