German electrical primer from 3.7cm KwK 36 PzGr kps shell fired by Panzer 3 tank recovered from near Bialystok which was a Russian pocket of resistance in Poland during Operation Barbarossa in mid June 1941

This is a unusual find from the battlefield a German electrical primer from 3.7cm KwK 36 PzGr kps armour piercing or high explosive round fired by Panzer 3 tank.The primer still has its original brass colour the markings on the bottom of the primer can be seen including the date 1941 it has been very well cleaned and retains most of its original colour and is perfect for display or any collection.The primer is completely empty and inert and is in lovely condition for a battlefield recovered one.The primer was recovered from near Bialystok which was a Russian pocket of resistance in Poland during Operation Barbarossa June 1941 the German invasion of Russia.The primer comes with A5 laminated information card.

The Battle of Białystok–Minsk was a German strategic operation conducted by the Army Group Centre under the command of Fedor Von Bock during the penetration of the Soviet border region in the opening stage of Operation Barbarossa lasting from 22 June to 3 July 1941.
