Totally rare fantastic complete German SS foreign volunteer soldiers reverse double decal M40 steel helmet that was recovered from an old German bunker in Finland on the Northern side of the battlefield around Leningrad during its liberation of 1944.

This is a totally rare fantastic complete German SS foreign volunteer soldiers reverse double decal M40 steel helmet which would have been worn by a soldier in the SS Nordland Division The helmet which has both of its decals partly clear to see the SS is faint but you can see what it is the shell itself still with a lot of original green paintwork remains which is very clear to see on the outside and the inside of the helmet it is lightly rusty and pitted with no rust holes and is lovely and solid not braking up or falling apart.On the inside of the helmet is near complete liner the ring is totally complete and still has pretty much all of its leather liner still attached and its brown colour but has some discolor from being buried it also has its chin strap holders but no chin strap. The helmet has been very well cleaned as is perfect for display or any collection and a very very rare helmet to find from the battlefield especially in this condition with decals and a liner.The helmet was recovered from an old German bunker used by soldiers of the SS Nordland Division in Finland on the Northern side of the battlefield around Leningrad during its liberation of 1944.The helmet comes with 3xA5 laminated information sheets with pictures.
