    This is a German fuel can the famous Jerry can it is a blown away top section from a can that has completely blown apart. The tin has a lot of its original black paintwork it has light surface rust all over the cap still opens and closes also locks perfectly well a very nice example of this famous fuel can battlefield which has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The fuel can part was recovered from near the village of Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943. The can was recovered from village of Plota near Prokhorovka on the battlefield at Kursk 1943 where the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East in Russia.The can comes with A5 laminated information card.
