    This is a Russian 120mm mortar bomb tail section nice fired relic which is near complete with all of its fins a few of them have bent and ripped off by the impact. This back section of the standard 120mm mortar it has its primer which has of its maker markings that can be seen and is dated 1943 it has blown off in the explosion after being fired nice condition relic which is empty and inert which is de activated by condition. The mortar bomb tail section which is in relic but solid condition it still retains some of its original colour it has been very well cleaned the metal is pitted and rusty but overall nice condition for a relic it is perfect for display or any collection . The mortar fin was fired by the Russian 1st Guards Tank Army recovered around the village of Sachsendorf on the Seelow Heights from the 16th -17th April 1945 the battlefield part of the Berlin Defence against the Red Army in last days of War on the Eastern Front. The tail section comes with A5 laminated information card with pictures.
