This is a complete shell fired by 3.7cm PAK 35/36 anti tank gun which has a fairly nice condition steel case but with non of its original markings that can be seen on the base. The projectile slides in and out of the case and is a nice fired projectile with the grooves on the brass driving band from the barrel and small maker marking with some original black colour the case is in nice solid condition for a steel case battlefield recovered which has been very well cleaned even with an anti-rust agent still with some rust holes and damage but it is not braking up or falling apart it has been very nicely cleaned perfect to display or any collection. The shell was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
