This is a very rare box to find German Wooden crate Factory supply to the frontline units a packing case Number 10 which held some very rare items.The box is in very nice condition the wood still retains all of its original green painted finish the wood is in fantastic condition is still very solid not braking up or falling apart and no wood worm either,it does have some small amount of damage but nothing to bad it still rare to find this nicely preserved the box has all of its original war time stamped white ink markings and embossed maker mark with waffen stamp and dated 1937 when the box was made. The crate outside has 3 paper labels on the front and the side with some clear markings and on the inside it has 2 more paper labels with better markings which state the following information it carried panzerfaust klein’s explosive charges with a packed date of 20th July 1944. Then it was re packed on the 21st September 1944 with explosive charges for 8.8cm raketenwerfer puppchen rounds.
The box has both hinges that work and in nice condition and the locks are missing.On the inside it is very nice condition used box this is a very nice example of this very rare to find ammunition crate and comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with all the information of the box's contents.The crate was bought on a local military fair in Arnhem in 2025.The crate was found locally in the Arnhem area used in the battle of September 1944 in the Netherlands.
