    This is a rare to find Luftwaffe transportation crate it is for 60 in 4 seperate tins Luftwaffe 1kg incendiary bombs with a last packed date on the label inside the of 26th October 1936 also label on the front of crate with mostly readable markings. This crate is complete the wood is still solid and its nice green painted colour and a very lightly used crate with very little damage and marks it did have bit of woodworm but has been treated it still retains its original white stamped markings on the lid perfectly readable it is maker stamped and dated 1935 on one side.On the inside the paper label is perfectly clear to read both hinges are in nice condition but it missing its metal carry handles, the lid still opens and closes and the catches still work the box is in overall very nice condition no major damage and hard to find in this good a condition for such an early war box.The crate was used on an airfield in the Calais region properly against England during the battle of Britain it was found after the war and has been in a private collection ever since,The crate comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards
