World War 1 mark 1 raw edge British brodie helmet which has been over painted green found many years ago on the famous Somme battlefield 1916-1918

This is a very rare World War 1 mark 1 raw edge British brodie helmet which is complete with no holes .The helmet has been over painted green it looks like it might have been filled at so some point.The helmet has no chin strap or liner but with the holes where the chinstrap clips should be the helmet is in very solid condition and has been very well cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection and a very nice example and very rare to find now these days of this famous helmet it was found many years ago on the famous Somme battlefield and has been in a private collection ever since.
