This is a rare group of parts from battle of Britain Messerschmitt 109.This glass framed group of parts which are aluminium airframe section with some original gray camouflage paintwork remains clear to see also a Bosch maker label from a onternal engine part and a blue painted bracket part which attached an oxygen bottle inside the aircraft .These parts have been nicely cleaned and retain a lot of there original colour they all have been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with plane and crash information and pictures including one of the pilot the frame is 10 half inches by 10 half inches in size.The parts come from German Messerschmitt bf109 number 5095 OF 2/JG51 shot down on the 28th October 1940 and crashed at Dymchurch in Kent during the Battle of Britain 1940.
Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 ME109E-4 Werke No 5095 of stab II/JG51 the pilot was Leutnant Werner Knittel who was Gruppe Adjutant he was 39 years old. The plane was Shot down by RAF Spitfire of 603 squadron flown by Sergeant A.S Darling. The Messerschmitt 109 crashed at Fielding Land in Dymchurch in Kent at 5.10 pm on the 28th October 1940.
