German late war wooden made vehicle verbandkasten [medical box] with original green paintwork and red cross markings found in Dieppe originally used in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944

This is a unusual late war wooden made German Wehrmacht vehicle medical box or Verbandkasten with the red cross and white stamped maker markings partly clear to see on the lid. The box has most of its original green colour paintwork remains on it all over the box properly about 90% paintwork still on it. The box which has some knocks and marks from use but nothing to bad it has no woodworm the box still opens and closes perfectly with working hing but the locks are broken and it has a post war catch on it to close it on the inside is in nice condition with no paper label it is in overall pretty good condition and a nice example of this medical box which is battlefield found it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .The medical box came from a private collection in Dieppe originally used by the German Army in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944.The box comes with A5 laminated information card.
