This is a rare group of parts from a battle of Britain Messerschmitt 109 that there is very little about of this particular aircraft.There are 2 fantastic clean airframe sections with structure bar end all with some paintwork remains which are very nice and clean parts and a engine pipework section which is a brass fitting pipe again lovely condition.The parts have a lot of there original colours and they have ripped,bent and smashed by the impact of the crash and are in nice solid condition which are perfect for display or any collection and are 3-6 inches long in size.The parts come from German Messerschmitt 109 number 1129 shot down on 6th September 1940 over Kent during the battle of Britain.The parts come with A5 laminated information sheet.
Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 (1129) of 8/JG53 was shot down by Pilot Officer G.H. Bennions of RAF 41 Squadron during combat over Chatham at 18.00 on the 6th September 1940. The Aircraft exploded over the mouth of the river Medway and crashed at Kingsnorth Marshes the pilot Feldwebel Hempel baled out of the aircraft but was killed.
