This is a totally rare find from the cockpit which is a Pilots direction indicator[for course control] switch which is pretty much complete but has some damage to the outer case.The gauge is maker marked on the front with part number and with black paintwork and lots of original colour. This is in nice semi relic but solid condition with only light damage from the crash it is 6 inches long in size.This is is a rare one for any collection and is perfect for display. The part comes from German Arado Ar 232 Tausendfüßler cargo/transport aircraft number 0100012 of Wettererkundungsstaffel Wekusta 5 TC+EG which crashed shortly after take-off in bad weather on the 26th August 1943. The part comes with 3xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures of what it looks like now. The parts have come from a private collection which the items were collected many years ago directly from the crash sites he visited and found including surface finds or some aircraft that were dug out and recovered all these parts now available for the first time.
