This is a soldiers brass Binoculars outer case remains it is in very nice condition not rusty still retains its shiny brass colour it has been very well cleaned it is very solid and not braking up or falling apart and is a nice and unusual find from the battlefield. The binoculars were recovered in September 2018 from the area that was Guillemont Station on the July-August 1916 battlefield on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916.Below picture is the shattered remains of Guillemont Station in 1916 after the battle.
