    This is a nice find from the battlefield which is French citron model 1916 Grenade steel case remains which has been cut in half for display purposes with some black paint remains. The case still has some Somme mud attached to the outside of it is completely inert and empty it has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The grenade part which was recovered at Mametz on The Somme an area heavily fought over in the summer of 1916.This is a very nice relic from a very famous area of The Somme battlefield.
