    This is a totally rare find massive joint or ram from the undercarrage bay or area on the aircraft.The steel bar is a heavy lump still with some original white paintwork and a bit of green this solid part still with its brass rings which the pins slid in to the part being solid solid and heavy is pretty much undamaged by the impact of the crash it is in relic but solid condition it is 15 inches long by 4 inches wide in size it is rusty but solid and has been well cleaned.This is is a rare one for any collection and is perfect for display. The part comes from German Arado Ar 232 Tausendfüßler cargo/transport aircraft number 0100012 of Wettererkundungsstaffel Wekusta 5 TC+EG which crashed shortly after take-off in bad weather on the 26th August 1943. The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures of what it looks like now. The parts have come from a private collection which the items were collected many years ago directly from the crash sites he visited and found including surface finds or some aircraft that were dug out and recovered all these parts now available for the first time.

The aircraft crashed in Finnmark which in the very North of Norway. The German aircraft crashed shortly after take-off in bad weather from Banak airfield. Passengers: Obgefreiter Ulrich Vogt. Obgefreiter Rudolf Graupner. Obgefreiter Albert Vorthmann. Obgefreiter Heinz Wegener. All rest at Botn Cemetery, Rognan in Norway.
