This is a rare airframe part from French Morane-Saulner MS.406 fighter. This is a nice steel airframe structure bar which is in lovely condition it still has very clear to see some of original green camouflage paintwork remains and it still retains a lot of its original colours and is wonderfully clean it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash it is very solid it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and is 15 inches long by 2 inches wide and is a very rare French relic. The part comes French Morane-Saulner MS.406 fighter number 598 was shot down in combat with Messerschmitt 110s North -East of Luxeuil and crashed at Briaucourt on the 10th May 1940 during battle of France. The remains of the plane were excavated in 1972, this part was in the Blake Hall Airscene museum in Essex which shut down in 2007.
