    This is a very rare to find a large rounded part from cockpit heater,which has clear to see burn marks from fire after the bomber was shot down The steel panel still has some corrosion nothing to bad from laying around on the forest floor for many years it does still retain lots of its original steel colour and has ripped and smashed by the impact of the crash it is in nice solid condition the part has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 3 inches tall and 9 inches wide. The part which is very hard to find from this particular aircraft which is German JU87 stuka dive bomber work number 4528 of 2./I./StG1 which crashed at Skamdalen, Beisfjord Nordland near Narvik .The dive bomber was shot down by RAF Gladiator on the 2nd June 1940 during the German invasion of Norway.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures of what it looks like now.The parts have come from a private collection which the items were collected many years ago directly from the crash sites he visited and found including surface finds or some aircraft that were dug out and recovered all these parts now available for the first time.

    The dive bomber was attacked and shot down by RAF Gladiators from 263 Squadron. after a bombing raid on Narvik. The Stuka, with its port under wing tank on fire, crashed soon after in a valley at Beisfjord. RAF pilots Alvin Williams(N5905) and Herbert H Kitchener shared this victory. The bodies of Staffelkapitän Böhne and his gunner were recovered later by the Germans.
