    This is a unusual late war wooden made German Wehrmacht vehicle medical box or Verbandkasten with the red cross maker markings very clear to see on the lid with a bit of damage lid looks like candle wax properly from war time use . The box has most of its original green colour paintwork remains on it all over the box properly about 90% paintwork still on it. The box which has some knocks and marks from use but nothing to bad it has no woodworm the box still opens and closes perfectly with working hing but the locks are broken but still has its cloth carry handle on the inside is in nice condition with no paper label it is in overall pretty good condition and a nice example of this medical box which is battlefield found it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .The medical box came from a private collection in Dieppe originally used by the German Army in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944.The box comes with A5 laminated information card.
