    The sight was recovered from a roadside ditch near hill 192 and the positions of Fallschirmjager troops and German Panzer Lehr Division that fought in part of the battle of St Lo on the Normandy battlefield of July 1944. A very nice relic from the famous battlefield and a hard-fought battle not that well known today but a fierce battle with the Fallschirmjager that the Americans won.

    A fantastic relic item that is not often found - especially with remains of the original yellow paint! as you can see part of the sight is missing - no doubt smashed at the time to prevent capture or by battle damage. has been lightly cleaned to help preserve. Great addition to any Normandy relic collection!
