    This is a rare find a German Luftwaffe tail fin complete from a 10kg practice bomb (concrete bomb). The part is in 2 halves that still connect and move also separate it is rusty but solid it does have some damage but still has some original paintwork remains fairly clear to see it has lots of rust and a few rust holes it has been nicely cleaned and is in nice solid condition a real one off for that gap in the collection and perfect for display or a rare one for any collection it is 16 inches long and 12 inches wide,The German Luftwaffe tail fin from a 10kg practice bomb (concrete bomb) was recovered from the dump site on the old Luftwaffe Trier air base which was in use from 1936 until 1945.The tail fin comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.

    When World War 2 broke out with France on 3 September 1939, Trier Airfield was placed on alert, but no Luftwaffe aircraft were assigned until May 1940, during the buildup of German forces prior to the Battle of France there were Messerschmitt 109’s also Messerschmitt 110’s and Dornier Do 17’s bombers all stationed there.
