This is a large engine case section from the top of the engine around the piston sleeve from a Battle of Britain German Messerschmitt bf109 which was shot down in the Battle of Britain, This is a large internal engine part from the Daimler Benz engine which is mag allow made from the Daimler Benz engine it is very solid and has been very well cleaned back to its original steel colour it is in nice solid condition it has smashed of by the impact of the crash but it is perfect for display or any collection and is nice part at 7 by 6 inches in size. This engine case part comes from German Messerschmitt bf109 work number 3784 the pilot was Hauptmann Wilhelm Ensslen shot down on the 2nd November 1940 during the battle of Britain.The item comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with pictures of the pilots involved.
