    This is a very nice larger size part from Messserschmitt 110 flown by high ranked officer which was shot down in the battle of Britain. This is  aluminium made airframe inspection panel with some clear to see green paintwork remains but is in 2 parts smashed apart by crash impact but which overall is in fantastic condition and still retains a lot of its original colours which is very clear to see the panel has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash it is in nice solid condition the part has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 7 inches long and 6 inches wide. The part which is very hard to find from this particular aircraft it is from German Messerschmitt BF 110 work number 3560-pilot Hauptmann H.Liensberger who was a Gruppenkommandeur which was shot down on the 27th September 1940 during the Battle of Britain and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures.

    German Messerschmitt BF 110 work number 3560 which was shot down at 9.50am on the 27th September 1940.The pilot was Hauptmann H.Liensberger who was a Gruppenkommandeur and Unteroffizier A.Kopge were both killed in the crash in the Battle of Britain.

    The Messerschmitt 110 was intercepted by RAF fighters during sortie over Redhill and chased south by flying officer P.R-F.Burton of NO249 squadron. Percy Burton pursued the Messerschmitt at very low level and eventually deliberately rammed the aircraft and it lost its tailplane over Hailsham. The plane crashed and broke up at Simmons Field near Hamlins Mill in Sussex.
