Complete fantastic condition German long 15cm high explosive/shrapnel shell with a Dopp Z 92 45mm time/percussion fuse it is dated 1915, fired by 15cm S.F.H 02 or the later S.F.H 13 heavy field howitzer found on the Ypres Battlefield in Belgium 1916-1918.

This is a very rare Complete fantastic condition German long 15cm high explosive shell with a Dopp Z 92 45mm time and percussion fuse and is fired by 15cm S.F.H 02 or the later S.F.H 13 heavy field howitzer which is in fantastic condition with the fuse having all of its maker markings,numbers and is dated 1915. The steel case has a lovely smooth to the touch black painted finnish not sure if this is original or an over paint either way its a lovely looking finnish it still has its brass driving band in place its nice brass colour the outer case is not really at all pitted with no holes.The fuse which is its nice shiny brass colour and it screws in and out of the shell perfectly. The projectile is completely empty and inert it has been well cleaned and overall perfect condition for display and very rare one for any collection.The projectile was found many years ago on the on the Ypres Battlefield in Belgium 1916-1918  and has been in a private collection ever since and comes with a A5 laminated information card.
