British 13 pounder shell case with all its markings dated 1917 in nice condition still brass colour found on the famous Somme battlefield fired during the later battles on the Somme properly in 1918 during the German spring offensive.

This is a British 13 pounder shell case much harder to find then the standard 18 pounder cases. The case is in nice condition nicely clean still retains its shiny brass colour with no damage with a lot of discolour and has all its original markings on the bottom of it including the date 1917 is still has its primer which has many maker markings. The case was found on the Somme a very nice condition this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme properly in 1918 during the German spring offensive.
