    This is a very nice group of aluminium airframe sections there are 3 aluminium airframe sections in all.The parts nice condition fairly clean and have some original green and black camouflage paintwork remains still on it very clear to see they have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and still retain some of there original colours they are very solid not braking up or falling apart and haves been very well cleaned perfect for display or any collection the parts are 14-7 inches long in size. The parts come from Royal Navy Blackburn Skua fighter bomber work number L3055 of 800 squadron Fleet Air Arm "Ark Royal".The aircraft which was damaged by German flak anti-aircraft guns and crashed at Haugfjell, Narvik on the 9th May 1940 during the German invasion of Norway.The parts come with 2 X A5 laminated information sheets with photograph of the crash site.

    Damaged by German flak the aircraft made a forced landing south east of Grøndalsvatnet at Haugfjell. The crew Midshipman C.Treen and Naval Airman A.E.T.Goble destroyed the aircraft and walked to Rombaken. They were picked up by "HMS Bedouin".
