Large airframe and Engine parts from British RAF Hampden mark I number AE300 of 106 Squadron Bomber Command which was shot down on a raid on the U-Boat pens in Rostock. The bomber crashed near Hostrup on 12th September 1941 in Denmark.

This is a group of large sections which are 5 aluminium airframe parts and engine parts which all have a lot of original colours and some green and black paintwork on the airframe parts,All parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash the 2 engine parts are pipework section and metal ring all of the parts are still very solid not braking up or falling apart they have been very well cleaned perfect for display or any collection the parts are 4-7 inches long in size and rare to get such nice group of parts from this early war British bomber.The parts comes from British RAF Hampden mark I number AE300 of 106 Squadron Bomber Command which was shot down on a raid on the U-Boat pens in Rostock. The outbound flight took AE300 across the North Sea, north of the island of Sylt, across Jylland and south over the Baltic to Rostock where the target was the U-boat pens. The altitude was about 16.000 ft with a thin layer of clouds with gaps through which the crew could see the coastline and finally the target below. After attacking the target, the crew resumed their homeward journey heading north over the Baltic.
