This is a Group of 3 British Artillery gun shell container lids. These lids have some original green paintwork remains and are for a Number 91 not sure what that is and they are all dated 1944 they rusty but solid with a bit of rust damage and has been very well cleaned it is in perfect condition for display or any collection and comes with a laminated A5 information card with pictures. These lids were recovered from the area of the Bourguebus ridge captured by the British and Canadians during Operation Goodwood the battle was fought on the 18-21 July 1944 in Normandy. This item comes with a A5 laminated information card.
